Please read through the following information carefully before submitting a request. Projects are selected based on how well they align with the artist's current artistic direction.

Age: All clients must be 18+ with valid photo ID.
Health & Wellness: To maintain a safe environment for everyone, please only attend your appointment if you are 100% healthy. If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness (cold, flu, fever, etc.), please reach out to reschedule.
Sobriety: For your safety and the integrity of the tattoo, the studio is a strictly sober environment. Clients must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during their appointment.
Medical Conditions: For your safety and the best healing results, please disclose any relevant medical conditions in your initial request (such as heart conditions, epilepsy, or pregnancy). Please also note if you are taking medications that affect the blood, such as blood thinners or certain immunosuppressants, as these can impact the tattooing and healing process.
Style: I work exclusively in my own illustrative blackwork style, as seen in my portfolio. I do not take on any other style.
Inclusivity: All bodies, skin types, abilities, gender expressions, and identities are welcome. I am dedicated to providing a space where everyone feels respected and seen, and welcome input on adjustments I can make to improve your experience.
Cultural Intent: To remain respectful and intentional, I do not use appropriative imagery or sacred symbols from cultures that neither I nor the client are personally connected to.
Location: Vale of the Fae is a private, appointment-only studio in downtown Castlegar, BC. The exact address is provided once a booking is confirmed.
Rate:$190/hr + GST (one hour minimum). Cash or e-transfer only. US travellers are cash only. I will accept American cash at a 1:1 exchange rate.
Touch Ups: One free touch-up is available within the first year of healing (excluding hands/feet), provided aftercare instructions were followed.
Tattoo Coverups: I am very selective with covering existing tattoos. I only take on projects where I am confident I can execute a high-quality result that matches my style.
Scar Coverups: I truly enjoy the challenge of working with scar tissue. These projects are incredibly special and transformative, and I welcome the opportunity to help you reclaim those areas of your body.
Punctuality: Please reach out if you are running behind. Arriving more than 30 minutes late without contact will result in a forfeited appointment and deposit.
Reminders: Courtesy reminders are not sent out. Please ensure all dates are marked on your calendar.
Guests: One adult guest is permitted if pre-arranged; no children or pets allowed.
To ensure the best possible design for your anatomy, please provide the following visual information:
Visual Inspiration: Please include 2–3 screenshots of my own previous work that you are particularly drawn to.
Subject Matter: Clear photographs of the specific plant, animal, or form you like. Please do not send another artist's tattoo as your only reference. I prefer to not see other artists work as reference. I will not directly copy another artists work.
Placement Photos: I need a clear, well-lit photo of the area to be tattooed—especially if we are working around existing pieces.
Have someone else take the photo or use a camera timer. Stand square and relaxed (do not twist). Think "mountain pose" in yoga. Ensure the camera is at the same height as the area being tattooed. No "selfie angles" or distorted perspectives.

1. Request: Submit a clear, concise concept. Creative freedom and trust are essential to the process; the best work happens when a simple idea—such as a specific animal, figure, or botanical—is given room for interpretation. However, while creative freedom is appreciated, please have a clear understanding of your desired subject matter, placement, and size before submitting your request.
2. Consult: If the project is a good fit, we will set up an in-person consultation at the studio (or Instagram video chat for out-of-town clients). This is a chance to meet, see the space, and discuss the vision.
3. Deposit: A $100 cash deposit is required during the consultation to secure an appointment date. Deposits are non-refundable but can be moved to a new date with at least 48 hours' notice.
4. Drawing: To protect the integrity of my work and maintain a focused creative process, I do not send drawings out before the appointment. If this causes significant anxiety, I am happy to accommodate a brief video call or a quick studio visit the day before to preview the design.
On the day of your appointment, time is always reserved to review the art together. I want you to feel completely confident in the design. Because of my background in art school, I am very comfortable with critiques. I welcome your feedback and will collaborate with you until we are both satisfied with the final piece.
I book 2–3 months in advance. If your desired date is further out, please submit your request closer to that time. Incomplete requests may not receive a response.
